The Totem Kin IC62 6.5” In-Ceiling Speaker is Totem’s premium 6.5-inch model in the KIN Architectural IC series, created for listeners who want a more involving, expansive, and musically convincing in-ceiling experience. It is engineered to energize a room in a broad, immersive manner while disappearing visually into the environment, making it an excellent fit for distributed audio, media spaces, and higher-end custom installations.
Designed to balance stealth, scale, and realism, this model aims to deliver a more open and emotionally engaging sound than most conventional architectural speakers in its class.
MHEX woofer in a die-cast basket — multiple layers of phenolic honeycomb and woven synthetics are designed for high rigidity, excellent transient behavior, and a clean response through the critical midband. The die-cast basket adds strength and helps reduce distortion-causing resonance.
Ceramic coated aluminum dome tweeter — the 1-inch tweeter uses a ceramic-coated aluminum dome for greater stiffness and damping than a conventional metal dome, helping push resonances beyond the audible range for a more natural, lower-distortion presentation.
Construction that supports performance — the ribbed unified framework shield helps protect the speaker during installation while adding rigidity, and the heavy-duty dog ear clamping system is designed to improve mounting stability, bass response, and midrange accuracy.
