Sealed reference bass • 13" high-excursion driver • 1,200W continuous Class D • OLED control interface • Advanced DSP + App control
The SVS SB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer is engineered to deliver deep, accurate bass with the speed and articulation only a sealed design can provide. Built around a proprietary front-firing 13" high-excursion driver and a massively powerful 1,200-watt continuous Class D amplifier (over 4,000 watts peak), it is designed to pressurize a room with authority while maintaining tight control and low distortion. With an onboard rear-panel OLED control interface and the industry-leading SVS smartphone app, the SVS SB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer makes advanced tuning approachable for both first-time sub owners and experienced enthusiasts.
Frequency response is rated at 17–230 Hz (± 3 dB), with SVS noting an expected 2–3 Hz deeper extension in small to mid-size rooms, and a roll-off slope optimized to take maximum advantage of available room gain.
13" long-throw driver platform — A proprietary, high-precision tuned overhung motor configuration with a 24.1 lb woofer and 18.5 lb motor, engineered for exceptionally linear, controlled excursion.
Extreme excursion capability — 30.1 mm Xmax and 72.9 mm Xmech precision-aligned excursion for deep bass output with control at reference levels.
Motor + coil engineering — SVS flat edge wound split-wind voice coil on a premium grade aluminum 2" former for thermal conductivity, plus dual dedicated toroidal Y30 ferrite magnets for high force and fast start/stop power.
Rigid, resonance-resistant build — Robust MDF cabinet with internal bracing and a protective non-resonant extra-thick ABS grille frame with fabric mesh cover.
Isolation-focused footing — Screw-in iso-elastomer feet reduce noise artifacts and improve stability.
Massively powerful Class D amplification — 1,200-watt continuous design with 4,000+ watts peak power, delivering 50% higher continuous power than the previous generation.
Advanced Analog Devices DSP — High resolution 295 MHz processor with double precision 56-bit filtering and over 5x the processing power of previous SVS subwoofers.
Real-time power management — SMPS with dual discrete 65 MHz PMUs works with the DSP to monitor voltage, current, AC mains behavior, and temperature sensors for maximum performance and reliability.
Ultra-low distortion — Rated at < 0.05% THD+N at rated power, designed for exacting signal integrity at all drive levels.
Connectivity for modern systems — Unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs (compatible with consumer and pro audio up to 4 Vrms), plus trigger input, IR input, and USB power for the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter (sold separately).
The SVS SB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer is compatible with the SVS Subwoofer Control Smartphone app for Apple iOS, Google Android, and Amazon Fire platforms. The app provides intuitive access to volume, low-pass filter, phase, polarity, six parametric EQs, room gain compensation, tuning modes, power management, and more. It also includes three memory presets for fast system-wide adjustments, plus bidirectional feedback showing changes in real time on both the app and the onboard interface.
Subwoofer Auto Room Equalization is listed as coming soon, using a mobile device microphone or an accessory microphone (also listed as coming soon) to measure and automatically calculate equalization filters.
The subwoofer is rated at 17–230 Hz (± 3 dB) under quasi-anechoic conditions (2-meter ground plane away from reflective structures). The response chart does not denote maximum output capability.
SVS notes you can expect 2–3 Hz deeper extension in small to mid-size rooms, and the roll-off slope is optimized to take advantage of available room gain.
Use XLR if your processor/preamp supports it for long runs and noise rejection. RCA is ideal for standard AVR subwoofer outputs. Both inputs are designed to accommodate consumer and professional audio levels.
