Ported reference bass with sealed-mode flexibility • Dual 3.5" high-flow ports • 13" high-excursion driver • 1,200W continuous Class D • OLED + App control
The SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer is built to deliver the kind of low-frequency impact that makes movies feel physical and music sound full-scale, while maintaining the control and tuning flexibility needed for real rooms. A proprietary front-firing 13" high-excursion driver combines with dual 3.5" high-flow ports and a massively powerful 1,200-watt continuous Class D amplifier (over 4,000 watts peak) to move serious air with low distortion. With a rear-panel OLED interface and the SVS smartphone app, the SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer gives you advanced controls without the complexity.
Standard mode (all ports open) is rated at 16–235 Hz (± 3 dB). Sealed mode (all ports sealed) is rated at 17 Hz to 270 Hz (± 3 dB). SVS notes an expected 2–3 Hz deeper extension in small to mid-size rooms, and a roll-off slope optimized to take maximum advantage of available room gain.
Dual 3.5" high-flow ports — Designed for high output and low turbulence in standard mode, with included foam plugs for sealed-mode operation.
13" long-throw driver platform — Proprietary overhung motor configuration with a 24.1 lb woofer and 18.5 lb motor, engineered for exceptionally linear, controlled excursion.
Extreme excursion capability — 30.1 mm Xmax and 72.9 mm Xmech precision-aligned excursion for deep output with control at reference levels.
Rigid, resonance-resistant build — MDF cabinet with internal bracing for resonance-free performance at high drive levels, plus a protective non-resonant extra-thick ABS grille frame with fabric mesh cover.
Isolation-focused footing — Screw-in iso-elastomer feet reduce noise artifacts and improve stability.
Massively powerful Class D amplification — 1,200-watt continuous design with 4,000+ watts peak power, delivering 50% higher continuous output than the previous generation.
Advanced Analog Devices DSP — High resolution 295 MHz processor with double precision 56-bit filtering and over 5x the processing power of prior SVS subwoofers.
Ultra-low distortion performance — Rated at < 0.05% THD+N at rated power (70% to 90% lower than previous generation), designed to maintain signal integrity at all drive levels.
Inputs for modern systems — Unbalanced RCA (10 kΩ) and balanced XLR (18 kΩ) inputs compatible with consumer and professional audio up to 4 Vrms, plus trigger input, IR input, and USB power for the SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter (sold separately).
The DSP runs real-time power management algorithms, monitoring power, excursion, and current thousands of times per second to regulate clean voltage, maximize headroom, and optimize efficiency.
The SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer works with the SVS Subwoofer Control Smartphone app for Apple iOS, Google Android, and Amazon Fire platforms. The app provides a comprehensive menu of functions including volume, fully adjustable low-pass filter, phase, polarity, six PEQs, room gain compensation, tuning modes, power management settings, and more. It also includes three memory presets and unique bidirectional feedback showing adjustments in real time on both the app and the onboard interface.
Subwoofer Auto Room Equalization is listed as coming soon, using a mobile device microphone or an accessory microphone (also listed as coming soon) to measure performance and automatically calculate equalization filters.
Standard mode (all ports open) prioritizes maximum low-frequency output and is rated at 16–235 Hz (± 3 dB). Sealed mode (all ports sealed with the included plugs) changes the roll-off behavior and is rated at 17 Hz to 270 Hz (± 3 dB).
Response data is measured in quasi-anechoic conditions (2-meter ground plane away from reflective structures). The response chart does not denote maximum output capability. SVS also notes you can expect 2–3 Hz deeper extension in small to mid-size rooms due to room gain.
Use XLR when available for longer runs and improved noise rejection. RCA is typical for AVRs and standard subwoofer outputs. Both are designed for consumer and professional signal levels.
