Recommended Assembly Area

Assemble the cabinet on a clean, flat surface with enough room to lay out the top, bottom, posts, rear panel, and hardware. Place a blanket, carpet remnant, or clean protective material beneath finished panels to help prevent scratches.

Step 1: Unpack and Identify the Parts

1. Carefully remove every component from the packaging.
2. Place the finished top and bottom panels on a protected surface.
3. Locate the aluminum posts, rear panel, connector bolts, leveler feet, washers, nuts, wrench, and hex key.
4. Check the hardware against the manufacturer’s parts list before beginning.
5. Do not discard the carton or protective packing until the cabinet has been completely assembled and inspected.

Step 2: Plan for Optional Accessories

1. Determine whether the cabinet will use optional doors, side panels, shelf supports, drawers, or related accessories.

3. Place the supplied metal washer over the threaded shaft of each leveler-foot assembly.
4. Insert the leveler foot and washer through the bottom panel and thread it into the end of the aluminum post.
5. Hand-tighten the foot until the post is held securely against the panel.
6. Use the included wrench to tighten the retaining nut against the underside of the bottom panel.
7. Repeat the process for every post.
8. Recheck that all posts remain square to the bottom panel before continuing.

Step 5: Confirm Post Orientation

1. Inspect the channel orientation on every post.
2. Make sure the channels intended for the rear panel face inward toward the rear of the cabinet.
3. Confirm that accessory channels are accessible and correctly oriented.
4. Loosen and realign a post before proceeding when any channel is facing the wrong direction.

Step 6: Install Channel-Mounted Hardware

1. Slide any required door, side-panel, shelf, or accessory hardware into the appropriate post channels.
2. Follow the accessory manufacturer’s required order and orientation.
3. Leave adjustable hardware slightly loose until final positioning is complete.
4. Verify that matching hardware is installed at equal heights on the corresponding posts.

Step 7: Insert the Rear Panel

1. Stand the partially assembled base in its normal upright orientation.
2. Confirm once more that the rear posts are square to the bottom panel.
3. Align the edges of the rear panel with the center channels in the rear posts.
4. Carefully slide the panel downward through the post channels.
5. Do not force the panel. Resistance usually indicates that a post is not square or the panel is not entering both channels evenly.
6. Guide both sides at the same rate until the rear panel is fully seated.
7. Position the cable-routing opening in the desired orientation when the panel design permits.

Step 8: Position Optional Side Panels

1. Install compatible side panels before attaching the cabinet top.
2. Align each panel with the appropriate channel in the front and rear posts.
3. Slide the panel slowly and evenly into place.
4. Verify that its finished face is oriented outward.
5. Do not force a panel into posts that are not parallel.

Step 9: Attach the Top Panel

1. Place the top panel over the installed aluminum posts.
2. Align every top-panel mounting hole with the threaded opening in the corresponding post.
3. Insert the supplied connector bolts through the top panel.
4. Start every bolt by hand before tightening any one bolt completely.
5. Once all bolts are correctly threaded, tighten them gradually with the included hex key.
6. Alternate between bolts to apply even pressure across the top.
7. Tighten until secure, but do not over-tighten.

Step 10: Stand and Level the Cabinet

1. With assistance when needed, move the assembled cabinet into its intended position.
2. Place a bubble level across the top from left to right.
3. Adjust the threaded leveler feet until the cabinet is level.
4. Check the cabinet again from front to back.
5. Make small adjustments until the module is stable and does not rock.
6. Confirm that every foot maintains firm contact with the floor.

Step 11: Install and Organize Components

1. Place equipment inside or on the cabinet without exceeding the published weight limits.
2. Keep ventilation openings on receivers, amplifiers, streamers, game systems, and other components unobstructed.
3. Route signal and power cables through the rear-panel opening.
4. Leave enough cable slack to pull components forward for service.
5. Whenever practical, separate power cords from low-level analog audio cables to reduce the possibility of interference.
6. Verify that no cable is pinched beneath the cabinet or trapped between a post and panel.

Step 12: Final Safety Inspection

1. Check every connector bolt and leveler-foot nut for secure installation.
2. Confirm that the rear panel and any optional side panels are fully seated.
3. Make sure the cabinet is level and stable.
