Based on the award-winning Stereo 100 platform, the Dark version adds carefully chosen circuit and parts upgrades intended to push transparency, tonal density, and dynamic authority even further while preserving the musical impact that made the original so highly regarded.
System note: the Dark version is intended for listeners who want more than the standard Stereo 100, with parts and power supply refinements derived from Rogue’s more ambitious Dark-series thinking.
KT120 push-pull output stage — the Stereo 100 platform uses four matched KT120 output tubes, chosen for their ability to deliver power, drive, and musical authority while maintaining Rogue’s signature tube character.
Triode and ultra-linear flexibility — the rear-panel switching lets listeners choose between the more direct and intimate presentation of triode operation and the additional power and grip of ultra-linear mode.
Dark-series component upgrades — the Dark version adds critical-path component improvements intended to elevate transparency, tonal saturation, and low-level detail retrieval beyond the standard model.
