You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Any purchase involving a Trade-In is considered a final sale and not subject to return.

The Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum III Dark Power Amplifier takes the proven Atlas Magnum III platform and adds Rogue Audio’s premium Dark upgrade package for even greater transparency, current delivery and low-level resolution. Its all-tube stereo output stage delivers 90 watts per channel with the current KT88 tube complement, providing enough power for a wide range of bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers while preserving the dimensionality, tonal richness and dynamic expression associated with tube amplification.
The Dark version upgrades the power supply, small-signal tubes, coupling capacitors, key resistors and capacitors, speaker terminals and cosmetics over the standard Atlas Magnum III. Selectable Ultralinear and Triode modes allow listeners to choose between maximum impact and output or a smoother, more relaxed triode presentation, while separate 4-ohm and 8-ohm transformer taps make speaker matching straightforward.
Dark High-Storage Linear Power Supply — The Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum III Dark Power Amplifier upgrades the already substantial Atlas power supply with additional premium components and greater energy storage. Rogue’s Dark upgrade is designed to improve transient authority, bass control and dynamic headroom while lowering the noise floor.
Premium Signal-Path Components — Upgraded coupling capacitors, precision resistors and selected capacitors are installed at critical points in the audio circuit. These changes are intended to increase transparency, tonal refinement and resolution while preserving the immediacy of the original Atlas design.
Upgraded Small-Signal Tube Stage — The Dark version receives upgraded 12AX7 input tubes and 12AU7 driver tubes in place of the standard small-signal complement. These tubes feed the quartet of KT88 output tubes through a short, low-noise signal path.
Heavy Copper PCB and Premium Connections — Rogue uses a heavy two-ounce copper circuit board, gold-plated RCA inputs and upgraded Cardas rhodium-plated speaker binding posts. A machined aluminum Dark faceplate and detachable IEC power connection complete the amplifier’s premium construction.
The Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum III Dark Power Amplifier adds an upgraded power supply, premium signal tubes, upgraded coupling capacitors, upgraded resistors and capacitors in critical locations, Cardas rhodium binding posts and the Dark faceplate compared with the standard Atlas Magnum III.
Ultralinear operation provides greater output power, dynamic impact and loudspeaker control. Triode mode reduces available power but provides a smoother, more relaxed presentation that some listeners prefer for vocals, acoustic music and lower-volume listening.
Yes. The Atlas is a dedicated stereo power amplifier and does not include source selection or volume control. It should be connected to a compatible line-stage preamplifier or source component with a variable preamplifier output.
Rogue Audio currently specifies four KT88 output tubes. The amplifier can also operate with certain compatible tube families when properly biased, but tube substitutions should follow Rogue Audio’s recommendations.
Preamplifier, source components, loudspeakers, interconnect cables, speaker cables and optional tube cage are sold separately.
