The Revel C426Be 3-Way Quadruple 6.5" Center Channel Loudspeaker in Walnut is designed to anchor a reference-level multichannel system with exceptional dialogue intelligibility, wide dynamic range and seamless tonal integration. Its sophisticated three-way architecture combines four 6.5-inch Deep Ceramic Composite woofers, a dedicated 5.25-inch DCC midrange and a 1-inch pure beryllium tweeter to reproduce movie dialogue, vocals, effects and music with precision at both moderate and cinema-level playback volumes.
The C426Be applies technologies developed for Revel's PerformaBe series, including a 5th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide, high-order crossover networks and heavily braced curved cabinetry. Dual rear-firing ports extend low-frequency capability, while adjustable feet allow the enclosure to be aimed toward the listening area when positioned above or below a display. The genuine high-gloss Walnut finish provides a premium furniture-grade appearance suited to high-end theater and media-room installations.
Pure Beryllium Tweeter — The Revel C426Be uses a 25mm pure beryllium dome. Beryllium's combination of low mass and high stiffness allows the tweeter to maintain controlled piston-like motion to very high frequencies while supporting excellent transient response and low distortion.
5th-Generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide — Revel's waveguide carefully controls tweeter dispersion through the crossover region so it more closely matches the radiation pattern of the midrange driver. The result is smoother off-axis response and more consistent sound across a broad seating area.
Deep Ceramic Composite Drivers — The midrange and woofer cones begin as aluminum and undergo a plasma process that creates a ceramic layer on both sides. This increases stiffness and damping, reducing cone resonance and helping the drivers maintain cleaner pistonic motion.
High-Order Crossover Network — Carefully selected film capacitors and air-core inductors are used in high-order crossover networks designed to minimize distortion and dynamic compression. Dual sets of gold-plated binding posts allow conventional single-wiring as well as bi-wire or bi-amp configurations.
