Featuring an 8.6-inch seamless carbon fiber tonearm, a heavy damped aluminum platter lined with Thermo-Plastic Elastomer (TPE), height-adjustable metal feet, an electronic speed change switch, and a factory-fitted Pick it Moving Magnet cartridge, this high-performance deck delivers exceptional detail, speed stability, and dynamic musicality.

  • 8.6-inch single-piece carbon fiber tonearm — the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 Hi-Fi Turntable utilizes an ultra-rigid, lightweight carbon fiber tonearm tube with an integrated headshell to eliminate unwanted resonances and track grooves with extreme precision.
  • Heavy damped aluminum platter with TPE damping — die-cast aluminum platter features an internal TPE ring that absorbs mechanical resonance and increases perimeter weight for superior rotational speed stability.
  • Electronic speed change switch — convenient rocker switch under the plinth allows seamless electronic switching between 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speeds (supports 78 RPM with optional belt).
  • Improved motor suspension & decoupling — decoupled AC motor housing uses a refined TPE damping dampener to isolate motor vibrations from transferring into the heavy MDF plinth and tonearm assembly.
  • Height-adjustable damped aluminum feet — heavy-duty metal feet provide easy leveling on any surface while decoupling the chassis from external room vibrations and footfalls.

No. Designed for pure audiophile performance, the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 Hi-Fi Turntable outputs a direct phono signal and requires an amplifier with a dedicated Phono MM input or an external standalone phono preamplifier.

Does this turntable include a phono cartridge pre-installed?

Yes, it comes from the factory fully fitted and calibrated with a high-performance Pro-Ject Pick it Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge for immediate out-of-the-box enjoyment.
