The Paradigm Persona 9H Hybrid Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single) combines a passive pure-beryllium midrange and tweeter section with four internally amplified 8.5-inch woofers, creating a reference loudspeaker with extraordinary clarity, scale, and low-frequency authority. Its Truextent® beryllium drivers reveal fine musical textures with exceptional speed and transparency, while the active acoustic-suspension bass system extends response down to an impressive 15Hz.
Anthem Room Correction measures the interaction between the speaker and listening environment, then applies precise DSP optimization to the powered bass section for smoother, more accurate low-frequency performance. Designed, engineered, and built in Canada, the Paradigm Persona 9H Hybrid Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Single) is equally suited to world-class two-channel systems and uncompromising home theaters.
Truextent® Pure Beryllium High-Frequency Driver — The 1-inch beryllium dome incorporates ferro-fluid damping and cooling, an FEA-optimized pole-piece assembly, and Paradigm’s PPA™ phase-aligning lens for smooth, controlled dispersion.
Truextent® Beryllium Midrange Driver — A 7-inch pure-beryllium diaphragm combines with an Inverse Differential Drive neodymium motor, high-temperature voice coil, PPA™ lens, and SHOCK-MOUNT™ isolation system.
Active X-PAL™ Bass System — Four 8.5-inch ultra-high-excursion aluminum woofers use Differential Drive motors, dual voice coils, ART™ surrounds, and dedicated DSP-controlled internal amplification.
ARC-Optimized Acoustic-Suspension Enclosure — The sealed active-bass design works with Anthem Room Correction to reduce room-related peaks and improve extension, definition, and consistency throughout the listening area.
This listing is for one loudspeaker. Two speakers must be ordered to create a conventional stereo pair.
Yes. The internal amplification powers only the four bass drivers. A compatible external power amplifier or integrated amplifier is required for the passive midrange and tweeter section.
Yes. Because the Persona 9H contains an active powered bass system, each loudspeaker must be connected to a suitable grounded AC outlet using its supplied power cord.
The included calibrated microphone and ARC software measure the speaker’s bass response in the room. ARC then creates correction filters for the active low-frequency section to improve bass accuracy and integration.
A second loudspeaker, external amplifier, speaker cables, source components, computer for ARC setup, delivery, calibration, and professional installation are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
