The Meze ASTRU In-Ear Monitors are premium universal-fit IEMs built around a single high-performance dynamic driver and a full-titanium shell architecture. Rather than relying on multiple drivers and crossover complexity, ASTRU is engineered to deliver a coherent, dense, and immersive presentation from one carefully developed acoustic platform—combining strong tonal body, precise imaging, and long-term wearing comfort in a refined flagship-caliber design.
Fit note: the shell geometry builds on Meze’s recent in-ear ergonomic language, with a comfort-first shape intended to reduce pressure points during longer listening sessions.
10mm dynamic driver platform — ASTRU is powered by a single dynamic driver engineered for exceptional control and refinement, prioritizing coherence and tonal density across the full range.
Multi-layer composite diaphragm — the dome structure combines an outer gold coating applied in more than 80 ultra-thin layers with a titanium layer bonded to a PEEK base, helping produce smoother treble extension and more natural transient response.
Pressure-relieving rear vent — the venting system equalizes pressure between the driver back cavity and the exterior, supporting freer bass excursion while reducing ear-canal pressure during longer sessions.
Precision-machined titanium shell — each shell is CNC-machined from a single block of titanium and finished through a multi-stage electroplating process for a satin feel and premium durability.
