The Matrix Audio MD-1P Integrated Amplifier Music Streamer is the higher-power MD-1P model, combining a premium music streamer, DAC, preamplifier, and powerful integrated amplifier in one elegant component. With 300 watts per channel at 8 ohms, the MD-1P is built for listeners who want modern streaming convenience and serious loudspeaker control from a single high-performance unit.
Unlike the standard MD-1, the MD-1P adds greater output power, dual speaker outputs, and dual subwoofer outputs, making it especially well suited for larger spaces, speaker A/B comparison, and more advanced two-channel systems.

The MD-1P uses Matrix Audio’s MA Player Hi-Fi Streaming OS and MA Remote app for music playback, library management, input control, and system operation. It supports modern streaming workflows including Roon Ready, Audirvana, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz, local NAS playback, and cloud-based music access.
The Matrix Audio MD-1P Integrated Amplifier Music Streamer also includes a 256-step digitally controlled analog preamp volume system, designed for precise level adjustment and strong channel consistency. A built-in MM phono stage with RIAA equalization makes it easy to add a turntable, while XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced analog inputs provide flexibility for other source components.
HDMI ARC makes TV integration easier, while Bypass Mode allows the analog input to function as a pure power amplifier input, making the MD-1P useful in systems that combine hi-fi listening and home theater flexibility.
