Reference 2.5-Way Floorstanding Loudspeakers • 1" Pure Diamond Tweeters • Dual 7.5" Ceramic Mid/Bass Drivers • 21Hz–45kHz Frequency Response • M-Core Triple-Layer Cabinets • Loaded Reflex Line Bass System • Jorma Duality Internal Wiring • Hand-Built in Sweden
The Marten Dexter Trio (Pair) expands the Dexter series into a compact floorstanding format, combining Marten's 1-inch pure diamond tweeter with two 7.5-inch ceramic mid/bass drivers in a carefully engineered 2.5-way architecture. With a rated frequency response extending from 21Hz to 45kHz, the Trio is designed to deliver genuine full-range performance, wide dynamic capability and the fast, low-distortion presentation associated with Marten's reference loudspeakers.
The cabinet incorporates Marten's M-Core triple-layer construction, a carbon-fiber laminate tweeter faceplate and the Loaded Reflex Line bass-loading system developed for the Dexter range. A shaped internal channel terminates in a wide downward-firing slot to support deep, controlled bass while reducing air velocity and increasing placement flexibility. Jorma Duality internal wiring, pure-copper rhodium-plated terminals and Marten Isolators complete a system engineered to preserve fine musical detail from source to room.
Pure Diamond High-Frequency Driver — The Marten Dexter Trio (Pair) uses the same 1-inch pure diamond tweeter architecture shared across the Dexter series. Diamond's extremely high stiffness-to-mass ratio helps the diaphragm maintain controlled piston-like motion beyond the audible range, minimizing breakup and preserving transient detail.
2.5-Way Dual Ceramic Architecture — Two 7.5-inch Marten ceramic mid/bass drivers provide the foundation of the Trio. The 2.5-way configuration allows the drivers to share low-frequency duties while optimizing the upper midrange transition to the diamond tweeter, helping maintain clarity, scale and controlled directivity.
M-Core Triple-Layer Cabinet — The enclosure uses a three-layer M-Core structure designed to suppress cabinet resonance and stored energy. A carbon-fiber laminate faceplate surrounding the tweeter provides additional rigidity in the critical high-frequency mounting area.
Jorma Duality Wiring & Marten Isolators — Jorma Duality ultra-pure copper wiring forms the internal signal path from crossover to drivers. Mirror-polished stainless-steel supports with Marten Isolators, developed with IsoAcoustics, mechanically decouple the cabinet from the floor to reduce vibration transfer and preserve spatial detail.
Yes. This listing includes one matched pair of Marten Dexter Trio floorstanding loudspeakers for high-performance two-channel stereo playback.
Yes. Each Dexter Trio uses a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter as standard equipment. Diamond is fundamental to the Dexter series rather than an optional tweeter upgrade.
Marten specifies 91dB sensitivity, a 6-ohm nominal impedance and a 3.6-ohm minimum impedance. This makes the Trio reasonably amplifier-friendly, although a high-quality amplifier with good current capability is recommended to fully exploit its resolution, bass control and dynamic range.
Yes. Marten offers an optional Statement Edition that upgrades the internal wiring from Jorma Duality to Jorma Statement and uses higher-grade crossover components while retaining the same driver and cabinet architecture.
Amplifier, source components, speaker cables, subwoofer and other system components are sold separately.
