Flagship 3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeakers • 1" Pure Diamond Tweeters • 3.5" Ceramic Midrange Drivers • Dual 9.5" Carbon-Fibre Bass Drivers • 21Hz–45kHz Frequency Response • M-Core Triple-Layer Cabinets • Loaded Reflex Line Bass System • Jorma Duality Internal Wiring • Hand-Built in Sweden
The Marten Dexter Quintet (Pair) is the flagship floorstanding loudspeaker in the Dexter series, combining a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter, dedicated 3.5-inch ceramic midrange and two 9.5-inch carbon-fibre bass drivers in a true three-way architecture. By assigning each portion of the frequency range to a driver engineered specifically for that task, the Quintet is designed to deliver exceptional clarity, scale, bass authority and low distortion across a wide 21Hz–45kHz bandwidth.
The Quintet also incorporates the full structural and mechanical engineering of the Dexter family. Marten's M-Core triple-layer cabinet helps suppress stored energy, while the Loaded Reflex Line routes low-frequency energy through a shaped internal channel to a broad downward-firing slot for deeper, more controlled bass. Jorma Duality internal wiring, pure-copper rhodium-plated terminals, Marten Isolators and a carbon-fibre laminate faceplate complete a reference-grade loudspeaker designed for large rooms and ambitious two-channel systems.
Pure Diamond High-Frequency Driver — The Marten Dexter Quintet (Pair) uses a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter as standard equipment. Diamond's extremely high stiffness-to-mass ratio allows the diaphragm to remain controlled well beyond the audible range, helping reduce breakup and preserve fine transient information.
Ceramic Midrange & Dual Carbon-Fibre Bass — The 3.5-inch ceramic midrange is optimized for transparency through the most information-rich portion of the spectrum, while two 9.5-inch carbon-fibre woofers handle low-frequency reproduction. The additional bass driver increases output capability and headroom compared with the Dexter Quartet while maintaining the same fundamental three-way architecture.
M-Core Triple-Layer Cabinet — Marten's M-Core construction uses a three-layer cabinet structure designed to reduce enclosure resonance and stored energy. A carbon-fibre laminate faceplate surrounds the tweeter and midrange to provide additional rigidity where driver movement and vibration control are especially critical.
Jorma Duality Wiring & Marten Isolators — Jorma Duality ultra-pure copper cable provides the internal signal path from crossover to drivers. Mirror-polished stainless-steel supports and Marten Isolators, developed with IsoAcoustics, mechanically decouple the cabinet from the floor to reduce vibration transfer and help preserve imaging and spatial detail.
Yes. This listing includes one matched pair of Marten Dexter Quintet floorstanding loudspeakers for high-performance two-channel playback.
The Quintet uses the same diamond tweeter and 3.5-inch ceramic midrange architecture as the Quartet but adds a second 9.5-inch carbon-fibre bass driver. This increases low-frequency headroom, scale and dynamic capability for larger rooms and higher playback levels.
Marten specifies 89dB sensitivity, a 6-ohm nominal impedance and a 3.8-ohm minimum impedance. A high-quality amplifier with strong current delivery is recommended to achieve the best bass control, dynamic performance and overall resolution.
Yes. The optional Statement Edition retains the same drivers, cabinet and bass-loading system while upgrading the internal wiring from Jorma Duality to Jorma Statement and using higher-grade crossover components.
Amplifier, source components, speaker cables, subwoofer and other system components are sold separately.
