Reference 3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeakers • 1" Pure Diamond Tweeters • 3.5" Ceramic Midrange Drivers • 9.5" Carbon-Fibre Bass Drivers • 21Hz–45kHz Frequency Response • M-Core Triple-Layer Cabinets • Loaded Reflex Line Bass System • Jorma Duality Internal Wiring • Hand-Built in Sweden
The Marten Dexter Quartet (Pair) brings the Dexter series into a true three-way floorstanding architecture, combining a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter, dedicated 3.5-inch ceramic midrange and 9.5-inch carbon-fibre bass driver. By assigning each major part of the frequency spectrum to a driver optimized specifically for that range, the Quartet is designed to deliver exceptional midrange clarity, deep low-frequency control and the extended, low-distortion treble performance associated with Marten's diamond-driver loudspeakers.
The Quartet also incorporates the core structural technologies developed for the Dexter family. Marten's M-Core triple-layer cabinet helps suppress stored energy, while the Loaded Reflex Line bass system combines transmission-line and reflex principles through a shaped internal channel and wide downward-firing slot. Jorma Duality internal wiring, pure-copper rhodium-plated terminals, Marten Isolators and a carbon-fibre laminate faceplate complete a loudspeaker engineered for revealing, full-range two-channel systems.
Pure Diamond High-Frequency Driver — The Marten Dexter Quartet (Pair) uses a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter as standard equipment. Diamond's exceptional stiffness-to-mass ratio allows the diaphragm to maintain controlled motion through and beyond its operating range, helping preserve transient detail and reduce breakup-related distortion.
Dedicated Ceramic Midrange — The 3.5-inch ceramic midrange provides a lightweight, extremely rigid diaphragm for the most information-dense portion of the audible spectrum. Separating the midrange from the bass driver allows vocals, acoustic instruments and spatial cues to be reproduced with greater control and lower intermodulation.
Carbon-Fibre Bass Driver & Loaded Reflex Line — A 9.5-inch carbon-fibre woofer provides the Quartet's low-frequency foundation. The driver operates into Marten's Loaded Reflex Line, a shaped internal channel terminating in a broad downward-facing slot that combines bass-reflex and transmission-line principles for extended, controlled output.
M-Core Cabinet & Jorma Duality Wiring — Marten's triple-layer M-Core cabinet is engineered to reduce unwanted enclosure vibration, while a machined carbon-fibre laminate faceplate provides a rigid foundation around the upper drivers. Jorma Duality ultra-pure copper cable carries the signal internally from the crossover to each driver.
Yes. This listing includes one matched pair of Marten Dexter Quartet floorstanding loudspeakers for high-performance two-channel playback.
The Dexter Quartet moves from the Trio's 2.5-way architecture to a full 3-way design. It adds a dedicated 3.5-inch ceramic midrange driver and uses a separate 9.5-inch carbon-fibre bass driver rather than the Trio's pair of ceramic mid/bass drivers.
Marten specifies 89dB sensitivity, a 6-ohm nominal impedance and a 3.8-ohm minimum impedance. A high-quality amplifier with strong current capability is recommended to achieve the best bass control, dynamic performance and resolution.
Yes. The optional Statement Edition retains the same drivers, cabinet and bass-loading architecture while upgrading the internal wiring from Jorma Duality to Jorma Statement and using higher-grade crossover components.
Amplifier, source components, speaker cables, subwoofer and other system components are sold separately.
