The Marten Dexter Duo (Pair) brings the core technologies of Marten's new Dexter series into a compact two-way stand-mount loudspeaker designed for serious high-end music systems. Each speaker combines a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter with a 7.5-inch ceramic mid/bass driver, allowing the Duo to deliver exceptional speed, transparency and low distortion across a wide 35Hz–45kHz frequency range.
The cabinet and bass system are engineered with the same attention to detail as the drivers. Marten's M-Core triple-layer cabinet is designed to minimize resonance, while the Loaded Reflex Line uses a shaped internal path and broad downward-firing vent to extend bass response with reduced air velocity and greater placement flexibility. Jorma Duality internal wiring and a custom multi-diverse-order crossover complete a design intended to disappear sonically and leave the recording itself at the forefront.
Pure Diamond High-Frequency Driver — The Marten Dexter Duo (Pair) uses pure diamond tweeters as standard equipment. Diamond's exceptional stiffness-to-mass ratio allows the diaphragm to remain pistonic beyond the audible range, helping reduce breakup and preserve the attack, decay and fine detail captured in the recording.
Ceramic Mid/Bass Driver — A 7.5-inch ceramic driver handles everything below the tweeter. High stiffness and low moving mass allow the driver to maintain controlled motion across its working range while producing the transparency and speed required to integrate seamlessly with the diamond tweeter.
M-Core Cabinet & Carbon-Fiber Tweeter Baffle — The cabinet uses Marten's M-Core triple-layer construction to control structural resonance. A carbon-fiber laminate faceplate surrounding the tweeter adds rigidity in a critical mounting area and contributes to the clean mechanical foundation of the high-frequency section.
Multi-Diverse Crossover & Jorma Duality Wiring — The crossover is individually optimized for the Dexter drivers and transitions at 2,000Hz. Internally, Jorma Duality cable provides an ultra-pure copper signal path from crossover to driver, while pure-copper rhodium-plated terminals provide the external connection.

Yes. Each Dexter Duo uses a 1-inch pure diamond tweeter as standard equipment. Diamond is a core technology of the Dexter series rather than an optional tweeter upgrade.
Marten specifies 88dB sensitivity, a 6-ohm nominal impedance and a 3.6-ohm minimum impedance. A high-quality amplifier with strong current delivery is recommended to take full advantage of the speaker's resolution and dynamic capability.
Yes. Marten offers dedicated Dexter stands in Matte Black with mirror-polished Marten Isolators. The stands are optional and are designed to provide proper listening height and mechanical support.
Dedicated Dexter speaker stands, amplifier, source components, speaker cables, subwoofer and other system components are sold separately.
