The M&K Sound X15+ THX Subwoofer with Dual 15" Push-Pull Long-Throw Woofers is engineered for large, high-performance home theaters that demand deep extension, immense output, and precise low-frequency control. Its two carbon-fiber 15-inch woofers operate in M&K Sound’s signature push-pull configuration, reducing nonlinear distortion while producing powerful bass that remains clean at demanding playback levels.
A high-efficiency amplifier delivers 700 watts RMS and up to 1,400 watts peak, while the sealed enclosure provides fast transient response and controlled integration with the main speakers. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections, selectable EQ modes, adjustable phase, and flexible crossover controls make the X15+ suitable for advanced home cinema and music systems.
Carbon-Fiber Woofer Cones — The rigid, lightweight cone construction accommodates increased excursion and amplifier power while maintaining control during demanding bass passages.
Push-Pull Architecture — One woofer is inverted relative to the other, allowing their nonlinear characteristics to oppose and reduce harmonic distortion.
Distortion Killer Shorting Rings — CNC-machined extruded-aluminum rings help stabilize the magnetic system and reduce distortion throughout the drivers’ operating range.
Heavily Braced Sealed Cabinet — Full 25mm MDF construction and internal reinforcement reduce panel vibration, cabinet resonance, and unwanted acoustic coloration.
The X15+ is intended for large, high-performance home cinemas and listening rooms that require reference-level output, substantial dynamic headroom, and deep low-frequency extension.
The woofers are mounted in opposing orientations so their nonlinear characteristics help cancel one another. This reduces distortion and allows the subwoofer to produce cleaner bass at high output levels.
Yes. The X15+ includes left and right balanced XLR inputs and outputs, along with left and right unbalanced RCA connections.
The X15+ does not include automatic microphone-based room correction. It provides adjustable level, phase, crossover, bypass, and EQ controls and can be calibrated through a compatible AV processor or external room-correction system.
