The M&K Sound X15+ Flagship Dual 15" Subwoofer delivers immense low-frequency output with the accuracy and control required for reference-level cinema and music systems. Its dual 15-inch extra-long-throw drivers operate in M&K Sound’s signature push-pull configuration, helping reduce harmonic distortion while producing powerful bass that extends down to a published 16Hz in-room response.
A Danish-built ICEpower Class D amplifier supplies 700 watts RMS and 1,400 watts peak output. With THX Certified Dominus performance for rooms up to approximately 6,500 cubic feet, the X15+ is designed for expansive private cinemas, large media rooms, premium listening spaces, and installations that demand deep, clean bass at high playback levels.
Push-Pull Driver Architecture — One 15-inch driver faces forward while the second is mounted in an opposing orientation. Their mechanically opposite movement helps cancel nonlinear distortion and increases usable output.
Carbon-Fiber Driver Construction — The extra-long-throw woofers use rigid, lightweight carbon-fiber cones with a foam inner layer to support high excursion while maintaining speed and control.
Sealed Cabinet Design — The heavily reinforced sealed enclosure supports fast transient response and controlled low-frequency roll-off without port noise.
ICEpower Class D Amplification — The onboard amplifier delivers 700 watts RMS and up to 1,400 watts peak while maintaining high efficiency and substantial dynamic reserves.
Adjustable Bass Management — Selectable THX and M&K EQ modes, fixed or variable crossover settings, crossover bypass, adjustable level, and continuously variable phase simplify integration with a wide range of systems.
THX Certified Dominus is designed for reference-level playback in very large home cinemas. M&K Sound specifies the X15+ for rooms up to approximately 6,500 cubic feet with viewing distances reaching about 20 feet.
Yes. The X15+ uses two powered 15-inch extra-long-throw drivers operating in a push-pull configuration. It does not use a passive radiator.
Yes. Balanced XLR inputs and outputs are provided along with unbalanced RCA connections, allowing integration with both consumer and professional-grade components.
No. Setup is performed using the rear-panel level, phase, crossover, EQ, and power controls. Room correction may be applied through a compatible AV receiver, processor, or external calibration system.
