The M&K Sound MPS1620P Studio Monitor (Each) is a bi-amplified reference monitor designed for professional recording studios, editing suites, post-production facilities, and demanding audiophiles. Combining a dedicated 100-watt amplifier for the woofer with a 50-watt amplifier for the tweeter, the MPS1620P delivers exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and low distortion across the entire audible spectrum.
Its unique convertible cabinet allows operation as either a sealed monitor for subwoofer-assisted systems or a ported full-range monitor capable of bass extension down to 35Hz. Adjustable EQ controls, balanced and unbalanced inputs, and flexible installation options make the MPS1620P equally at home in music production, surround mixing, and high-end home audio systems.
Dedicated Dual-Amplifier Architecture — A 100-watt RMS amplifier powers the woofer while a separate 50-watt RMS amplifier drives the tweeter, allowing each driver to perform within its optimal operating range.
Configurable Acoustic Alignment — A removable rear port plug allows the enclosure to function as either a sealed monitor or a bass-reflex design depending on system requirements.
Flexible Monitoring Modes — Selectable bass response, adjustable system trim, tweeter level controls, and an 80Hz high-pass filter provide numerous calibration options for professional environments.

Yes. The MPS1620P is sold individually, allowing you to purchase the exact quantity needed for stereo, multichannel, or immersive monitoring systems.
Yes. Removing the supplied port plug allows the MPS1620P to operate as a full-range ported monitor with bass extension down to approximately 35Hz under recommended placement conditions.
