The M&K Sound LCR950 LCR Speaker (Each) brings the accuracy, speed and dynamic capability of M&K Sound’s professional monitoring systems to a compact home theater loudspeaker. Its dual 5.25-inch polypropylene bass/midrange drivers work with a 1-inch soft-fabric-dome waveguide tweeter to deliver clear dialogue, focused imaging and controlled output at demanding listening levels.
Designed for left-, center- or right-channel use, the LCR950 allows identical speakers to be used across the front soundstage for consistent tonal balance and seamless effects movement. Its sealed cabinet, broad listening coverage and Phase-Focused crossover also make it suitable for high-performance stereo systems and timbre-matched 950 Series surround installations.
Professional High-Frequency Driver — The waveguide-mounted soft-dome tweeter was developed from M&K Sound’s professional monitor technology for high output with minimal dynamic compression.
Matching Polypropylene Woofers — Two proprietary 5.25-inch drivers provide articulate midrange and controlled upper-bass reproduction while maintaining consistent voicing throughout the 950 Series.
Phase-Focused Crossover — M&K Sound’s crossover is developed using frequency-domain, time-domain and points-in-space analysis to preserve imaging both on and off axis.
Acoustically Inert Metal Grille — The curved magnetic grille is designed to resist buzzing and vibration while maintaining the clean appearance of the Black Satin cabinet.
Yes. This listing includes one M&K Sound LCR950 speaker, allowing you to purchase the exact quantity required for an LCR, stereo or multichannel system.
Yes. The LCR950 is designed for left-, center- or right-channel use. Using three identical LCR950 speakers across the front provides consistent voicing and seamless imaging.
Yes. M&K Sound designs the 950 Series for use with a high-performance subwoofer. An 80Hz crossover is an appropriate starting point for system setup.
M&K Sound recommends an amplifier rated from 25 to 400 watts per channel. The receiver or amplifier should also be capable of safely driving a 4-ohm speaker load.
