By feeding back only the distorted components generated in the audio signal’s journey to the final amp stage, LUXMAN’s proprietary “ODNF” amplification circuitry achieves excellent static characteristics and natural sound quality as if it were a “non-feedback” system. During the development of the M-10X flagship stereo power amplifier launched in 2021, technical concepts explored there were retained and the circuit configuration, which had become very complex over years of improvements has been completely redesigned to realize “LIFES” exquisite, high-fidelity sound and defines an amplification feedback engine blueprint for Luxman's next generation of components. The L-509Z is equipped with independent LIFES modules operating simultaneously in each of its fully discrete pre and power sections. The L-509Z is a pre-main amplifier that is worthy of the “single-chassis separates” concept that incorporates quality separate units into a single, elegant chassis and has achieved an elevated level of musicality and unprecedented detail in comparison to other amplification circuits. The output section utilizes three stage Darlington bipolar transistors in quadruple-paralleled push-pull configuration to achieve outstanding output power and near perfect power linearity performance comparable to a standalone power amplifier, developing 120W+120W at 8 ohms and 220W+220W at 4 ohms. The result is spectacular sound quality with an abundance of energy.

Over a USB input from a PC, Mac, NAS for audio, etc., the D-07X supports a wide range of format encoding up to PCM768kHz/32 bit and DSD22.4MHz. Bulk Pet transfer, which equalizes transmission load, can also be selected by using Luxman's dedicated driver software. Furthermore, for the popular high-quality format MQA (MQA-CD/MQA file), which expands the field of optical discs, streaming USB, COAX, and optical. New tonearm with knife edge bearing
The PD-151 MARK II has been newly equipped with LUXMAN’s original static balance type tone arm, the LTA-309, featuring knife edge bearing technology developed by the Japanese brand SAEC, with over 40 years of experience. The arm base is machined aluminum, which minimizes the contact area, mounted to suppress unwanted vibration while ensuring rigidity. In addition to basic adjustment mechanisms, such as stylus pressure and anti-skating, LTA-309 also supports fine settings to optimize playback quality, such as arm height adjustment, according to the mounted cartridge. This S-shaped tonearm employs an H4 bayonet mount headshell, allowing easy install of phono cartridges, such as the LUXMAN LMC-5.
