FAQ — PRO-180-RPW
Is this speaker sold individually or as a pair?
This product listing is for a single (each) Klipsch Reference Premiere PRO-180-RPW In-Wall Speaker (Each). Please order the total quantity needed for your LCR or surround system configuration.
What is the main difference between the PRO-180-RPW and the PRO-160-RPW?
The PRO-180-RPW features a larger 8-inch Cerametallic woofer (compared to the 6.5-inch woofer on the PRO-160-RPW), delivering deeper bass extension, higher sensitivity, and greater power handling for larger listening spaces.
How does the SecureFit™ installation system work?
SecureFit utilizes a sturdy collar frame that mounts to the drywall cutout first, allowing the speaker module to drop in and lock securely into place without over-torquing screws into the wall board.
Can the front grille be painted?
Yes. The included magnetic bezel-free steel grille is fully paintable using standard spray paint or a light roller to match your wall finish.
