The Klipsch Heritage Jubilee Floorstanding Speakers (Pair) bring Paul W. Klipsch’s final loudspeaker project to life as the flagship of the Heritage Series. Originally conceived as a successor to the Klipschorn, the Jubilee developed into a fully horn-loaded two-way system engineered to reproduce music with exceptional scale, efficiency and dynamic realism. Its enormous high-frequency horn and patented folded-horn, vented low-frequency enclosure produce effortless output while maintaining clarity at both intimate and concert-like listening levels.
Each speaker combines two 12-inch fiber-composite woofers with a large-format K-693 compression driver featuring a seven-inch titanium diaphragm and five-inch voice coil. The included external active DSP crossover divides the signal at 340Hz while correcting time alignment, phase, gain and frequency response. Because the Jubilee operates as an actively crossed-over bi-amplified system, it requires four channels of external amplification or two separate stereo power amplifiers.
Patented Folded-Horn Vented Low-Frequency Enclosure — Dual 12-inch woofers operate inside a one-dimensional folded-horn system that also incorporates vented-box principles. This design increases acoustic efficiency and bass extension while minimizing cone movement and distortion.
K-693 Axiperiodic Compression Driver — The high-frequency section uses a seven-inch titanium diaphragm driven by a five-inch voice coil. Its wide operating bandwidth allows the crossover point to sit below the critical vocal range for consistent tone and seamless clarity.
External Wide-Dispersion Phase Plug — The Jubilee’s high-frequency horn and phase-plug geometry distribute sound across a broad, controlled listening area, supporting stable imaging and a wide sweet spot.
Active Time and Phase Alignment — The dedicated DSP crossover processes the high- and low-frequency sections before amplification. It corrects acoustic delay and phase interaction while applying the gain and equalization required to blend both horn systems into one coherent loudspeaker.
Yes. The Jubilee can only be operated as a bi-amplified system. A stereo pair requires either one four-channel power amplifier or two separate stereo power amplifiers, with independent channels powering the high- and low-frequency sections.
Yes. Klipsch includes a dedicated external active DSP crossover with each pair. It provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectivity, high- and low-frequency outputs, input attenuation and separate frequency-level adjustments.
No. Unlike traditional corner-horn designs, the Jubilee contains its complete low-frequency horn within the cabinet. Placement near a wall or corner can increase bass output, but the speakers can be positioned away from room boundaries when preferred.
Professional delivery and setup are strongly recommended. Each assembled speaker weighs approximately 408 pounds, and Klipsch recommends four people for unpacking and positioning. The high-frequency horn and low-frequency cabinet are shipped as separate sections for assembly at the installation location.
Preamplifier, power amplifiers, balanced or unbalanced interconnects, speaker cables, source components, professional delivery and installation services are sold separately.
