Key Features & Innovations
Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™) — the KEF LS50C Meta Center Channel in Carbon Black utilizes a complex maze-like structure behind the tweeter to absorb 99% of acoustic distortion for pure, effortless dialogue clarity.
12th Generation Uni-Q® Driver Array — point-source driver alignment integrates a 1-inch vented aluminum dome tweeter into the exact acoustic center of a 5.25-inch magnesium/aluminum alloy mid/bass cone.
Perfect Front Stage Voice Matching — exact driver and crossover voicing ensures seamless timber matching across the entire front audio soundstage when paired with LS50 Meta loudspeakers.
Flexible Computational Fluid Dynamic Port — patented flexible-walled, flared bass-reflex port minimizes air turbulence and prevents internal resonances from smearing critical midrange dialogue frequencies.
Low-Diffraction Curved Baffle — injection-molded composite front baffle reduces edge diffraction and standing waves for razor-sharp vocal imaging across all theater seating angles.
