FAQ — SCL-10XL
Is this speaker sold individually or as a pair?
This product listing is for a single (each) JBL Synthesis SCL-10XL 2-way Dual 10-inch Built-In Loudspeaker (Each). Please order the exact quantity needed for your reference front LCR stage or surround array.
What makes the SCL-10XL distinct from the standard SCL-10?
The SCL-10XL upgrades the low-frequency section to massive dual 10-inch woofers in a larger enclosure (compared to dual 6.5-inch woofers on the SCL-10), delivering vastly higher output, deeper bass extension, and greater dynamic capacity for large screening rooms.
Can the SCL-10XL be installed behind an acoustically transparent screen?
Yes. The high sensitivity, reference SPL capability, and controlled HDI™ horn dispersion make it the premier choice for placement behind woven or perforated micro-perforated cinema projection screens.
Is the front metal grille paintable?
Yes. The included magnetic bezel-free steel grille is fully paintable using light coats of spray paint to match your room's wall or baffle surface seamlessly.
