FAQ — Studio 6 88LCR
Is this speaker sold individually or as a pair?
This product listing is for a single (each) JBL Studio 6 88LCR Dual 8-Inch 2-Way In-Wall Loudspeaker (Each). Please select your required total quantity based on your home theater LCR or surround stage setup.
What is the difference between the Studio 6 88LCR and the Studio 6 6LCR?
The Studio 6 88LCR features larger dual 8-inch woofers (compared to dual 6.5-inch on the 6LCR), providing deeper low-frequency extension, higher overall sensitivity, and greater power handling capacity for larger rooms.
Can this speaker be mounted horizontally under a TV screen?
Yes. The symmetrical driver geometry and wide-dispersion HDI™ horn make it equally effective when mounted horizontally as a center channel or vertically as left/right main channels.
Is the front metal grille paintable?
Yes. The included zero-bezel magnetic steel grille can be painted with light coats of spray paint to blend seamlessly with your wall finish.
