The Gallo Acoustics TR-3D Subwoofer delivers deep, controlled low-frequency performance for premium stereo and home theater systems. Designed to complement Gallo Acoustics loudspeakers while integrating with a wide variety of other speaker systems, the TR-3D combines a powerful digital amplifier, long-throw aluminum woofer, and compact hardened-steel enclosure.
At the heart of the TR-3D is a 10-inch ceramic-coated aluminum-cone driver powered by a 300-watt RMS Class-D amplifier capable of delivering up to 600 watts of maximum output. Gallo’s proprietary S2 bass-loading technology helps the woofer behave as though it were operating within a larger enclosure, supporting powerful in-room bass response down to 18Hz.
The Gallo Acoustics TR-3D Subwoofer provides line-level RCA inputs and outputs, speaker-level inputs and outputs, adjustable output level, selectable phase, continuously variable crossover control, LFE bypass, and three bass-EQ settings. This extensive control system allows the subwoofer to integrate with compact satellite speakers, full-range loudspeakers, stereo amplifiers, and multichannel AV receivers.
S2 Bass-Loading Technology — Gallo’s proprietary cabinet treatment enhances low-frequency extension while neutralizing internal resonance. This allows the woofer to produce deeper, more powerful bass than would normally be expected from an enclosure of this size.
Ceramic-Coated Aluminum Woofer — The rigid 10-inch cone is engineered for fast transient response and controlled movement, helping the TR-3D reproduce bass with both impact and definition.
Flexible Bass Management — The adjustable 50Hz–180Hz low-pass filter can be engaged for stereo systems or bypassed when an AV receiver or processor is handling crossover duties.
High-Level Speaker Protection — The speaker-level output applies a fixed 100Hz first-order high-pass filter, helping protect compact loudspeakers from demanding low-frequency signals.
Room-Tailored Bass Output — The Gallo Acoustics TR-3D Subwoofer includes three bass-boost settings centered at 25Hz, allowing low-bass response to be adjusted for different room sizes, placements, and listening preferences.
Yes. Connect the receiver’s subwoofer or LFE output to the left line-level input on the TR-3D. When the AV receiver is managing the crossover, set the subwoofer’s crossover switch to bypass.
Yes. The TR-3D includes high-level speaker inputs and outputs, allowing it to connect to the speaker terminals of a compatible stereo amplifier.
The bass-EQ control provides 0dB, +3dB, and +6dB settings centered at 25Hz. These options allow the deep-bass level to be adjusted for the room and system.
Yes. In Auto mode, the TR-3D detects an incoming audio signal and powers on automatically. It returns to standby when the signal is no longer detected.
