The Gallo Acoustics Strada 2 Center Channel Speaker delivers exceptionally clear dialogue, precise imaging, and wide seating-area coverage from a compact horizontal loudspeaker. Designed specifically for the center position in a multichannel system, it combines Gallo’s patented CDT3 high-frequency technology with dual carbon-fiber mid/bass drivers and a rigid metal enclosure.
Unlike the vertically oriented Strada 2 reference loudspeaker, the center version positions its two 4-inch drivers and CDT3 tweeter side by side. This horizontal configuration produces a broad 120-degree dispersion pattern, helping dialogue and front-stage effects remain clear and consistent across multiple seating positions.
The Gallo Acoustics Strada 2 Center Channel Speaker can be positioned beneath or above a television or projection screen using the dedicated center table mount or center wall bracket. Its compact dimensions make it easier to integrate into premium home theaters without compromising reference-level performance.
CDT3 Cylindrical Diaphragm Transducer — Gallo’s patented tweeter uses a cylindrical diaphragm rather than a conventional dome. In the horizontal center-channel configuration, it provides a broad 120-degree dispersion pattern for improved coverage across multiple seats.
Dynamic Hyperbolic Carbon-Fiber Drivers — Two 4-inch drivers use rigid, low-mass carbon-fiber cones to reproduce voices, music, and effects with excellent transient response and low coloration.
Optimized Pulse Technology — Gallo’s OPT system is designed to integrate low, middle, and high frequencies into a unified sound source, supporting precise imaging and natural timing.
S2 Loading and Auxiliary Bass Cavities — The sealed enclosure uses Gallo’s proprietary S2 loading and auxiliary bass-cavity supplementation to deliver greater bass extension than its compact dimensions would normally suggest.
Home Theater Integration — The Gallo Acoustics Strada 2 Center Channel Speaker is voice-matched to the vertical Strada 2, making it ideal for a seamless three-channel front soundstage. A compatible subwoofer is recommended for full-range theater performance.
Yes. Its horizontal driver layout is designed for the center position in a multichannel home theater system and provides a 120-degree dispersion pattern.
Yes. It is a passive 8-ohm loudspeaker. Gallo recommends a minimum of 10 watts RMS and specifies power handling of up to 150 watts RMS of clean, unclipped music power.
The speaker is supplied according to the selected configuration with either the dedicated Strada 2 Center table mount or the dedicated center wall bracket.
A subwoofer is recommended for full-range home theater performance. Gallo suggests crossover settings of approximately 40Hz–80Hz when wall-mounted or 80Hz–120Hz when used on a table mount.
