The Gallo Acoustics ProfileSub Subwoofer delivers deep, controlled bass from an unusually slim enclosure designed to integrate discreetly into modern living spaces. Measuring only 7 inches deep, the ProfileSub can be mounted horizontally or vertically on a wall or positioned flat beneath suitable furniture when a conventional cube-shaped subwoofer would be difficult to accommodate.
An 8-inch polypropylene-cone woofer with an NBR surround is powered by an integrated 150-watt Class-D amplifier. With a published frequency response of 32Hz–220Hz, the ProfileSub adds weight, scale, and low-frequency definition to compact satellite speakers, stereo systems, television audio, and multichannel home theaters.
The Gallo Acoustics ProfileSub Subwoofer provides continuously variable level, low-pass crossover, and phase controls for precise integration with the room and connected loudspeakers. Two RCA line inputs allow connection to a dedicated LFE output or stereo preamplifier outputs, while interchangeable black and cement-grey grilles provide additional visual flexibility.
High-Performance Class-D Amplification — The integrated 150-watt digital amplifier delivers efficient, controlled power to the 8-inch woofer while keeping the ProfileSub cabinet compact and easy to place.
Continuously Variable Low-Pass Filter — The crossover can be adjusted from 50Hz to 180Hz, allowing the subwoofer to integrate with compact satellite speakers, bookshelf speakers, floorstanding speakers, or an AV receiver’s bass-management system.
Continuously Variable Phase Control — Phase adjustment from 0 to 180 degrees helps align the subwoofer’s output with the main speakers from different positions in the room.
Automatic Signal Sensing — The Auto power mode activates the subwoofer when an audio signal is detected and returns it to standby after the signal is no longer present.
Versatile Placement — The Gallo Acoustics ProfileSub Subwoofer is primarily designed for wall mounting but can also be used flat beneath furniture. Its mounting bar and rear feet can be repositioned for horizontal or vertical installation.
Yes. The rear mounting bar and feet can be repositioned so the ProfileSub can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
Yes. It can be positioned flat on its back beneath suitable furniture. The mounting bar is removed and the supplied spare feet are installed for this placement method.
Yes. Connect the receiver’s subwoofer or LFE output to the ProfileSub’s left/LFE RCA input. Its two RCA inputs also support connection to stereo preamplifier outputs.
The ProfileSub is supplied with two detachable grille options: black and cement grey.
