The Gallo Acoustics Micro Droplet Speaker (Each) transforms Gallo’s iconic Micro loudspeaker into an elegant pendant design for rooms where conventional bookshelf, wall-mounted, or in-ceiling speakers may not be practical. Suspended from the ceiling, the Micro Droplet delivers spacious sound and distinctive visual appeal for kitchens, dining rooms, lounges, home theaters, retail environments, and open architectural spaces.
Based on the standard Gallo Micro, the speaker combines a compact all-metal spherical enclosure with a custom-designed 3-inch full-range driver. Its spherical cabinet helps minimize internal standing waves and external diffraction, while the single-driver design avoids the phase and integration issues associated with a conventional multi-driver crossover network.
The Gallo Acoustics Micro Droplet Speaker (Each) is supplied with 2 meters of speaker cable and a ceiling-rose installation kit that includes both black and white ceiling-rose options. A broad selection of speaker colors, premium finishes, cable finishes, and bespoke SPECTRUM colors makes it possible to coordinate the installation with the surrounding interior.
Spherical Cabinet Architecture — The Micro Droplet’s rigid sphere avoids the parallel internal surfaces found in conventional rectangular cabinets. This helps reduce resonance and standing waves that can interfere with clarity.
Single-Driver Coherence — A custom-designed 3-inch full-range driver reproduces the speaker’s entire operating range without a conventional crossover. This supports consistent dispersion and coherent reproduction of music, dialogue, and ambient audio.
Pendant Installation Flexibility — The suspension cable carries the audio signal while supporting the speaker beneath the ceiling rose. During installation, the cable can be set to the desired drop length and trimmed as required.
Open-Architecture Sound — The pendant format is particularly useful in rooms with high ceilings, open layouts, limited wall space, or design requirements that make traditional speaker placement difficult.
Subwoofer Integration — For critical music listening and home theater, the Gallo Acoustics Micro Droplet Speaker (Each) is best paired with a compatible powered subwoofer to extend low-frequency performance.

Yes. The Micro Droplet is a passive loudspeaker and requires a compatible amplifier, stereo receiver, AV receiver, or distributed-audio amplifier.
The speaker is supplied with 2 meters of speaker cable and a ceiling-rose installation kit with both black and white ceiling-rose options. Appropriate mounting hardware for the specific ceiling construction may need to be selected separately by the installer.
A powered subwoofer is recommended for full-range music and home theater applications. Gallo Acoustics specifically recommends subwoofer support for critical listening with Droplet speakers.
