3-way bass-reflex floorstanding tower loudspeaker • inverted dome TAM tweeter • proprietary Slatefiber cone midrange & twin bass drivers • multi-port aerodynamic reflex system • tilted time-alignment base plinth • designed & engineered in France
The Focal Omada N3 Floorstanding Speaker (Each) delivers generous acoustic scale, expressive dynamic articulation, and immersive spatial staging in a sleek contemporary cabinet. Engineered with Focal's signature French acoustic craftsmanship, this 3-way floorstanding tower combines an inverted dome TAM high-frequency driver with a dedicated 6.5-inch Slatefiber midrange and dual 6.5-inch Slatefiber woofers. Incorporating a subtly angled plinth for acoustic time-alignment across all drive units and an aerodynamic dual-port reflex network, it ensures deep, controlled low frequencies, natural vocal clarity, and silky treble extension for demanding high-fidelity stereo systems and dedicated home theater front channels.
Key Features & Innovations
Proprietary Slatefiber Cone Technology — the Focal Omada N3 Floorstanding Speaker (Each) utilizes recycled non-woven carbon fibers oriented in parallel between layers of thermoplastic polymer, achieving ultra-high rigidity, low mass, and acoustic damping for precise, uncolored reproduction.
Aluminum/Magnesium 'M'-Shaped TAM Inverted Dome Tweeter — provides broad high-frequency dispersion and low directivity, allowing crystalline treble rendering past 28 kHz without harshness or listening fatigue.
Time-Alignment Tilted Base Architecture — integrates an engineered aluminum alloy base that mechanically tilts the cabinet rearward, aligning the acoustic centers of the drivers for coherent phase integration at the primary listening position.
Aerodynamic Dual-Port Bass-Reflex Alignment — features front-firing and downward-firing tuned ports to distribute low-frequency energy evenly into the room while suppressing air compression and port chuffing.
Rigid Non-Parallel Cabinet Structure — thick MDF side panels and strategic internal bracing eliminate internal standing waves and mechanical resonance, allowing the drivers to perform with pistonic clarity.
