The Esoteric G-01XD Master Clock Generator is a high-precision reference clock designed to elevate the musical expression of compatible digital sources by providing an ultra-stable 10MHz timing reference. Esoteric’s in-house Master Sound Discrete Clock is an OCXO system developed specifically for music reproduction, combining a custom crystal oscillator and an advanced thermo-control program for stable operation and natural, pure clock output. Connect it to Esoteric digital players and other components that accept a 10MHz external clock to improve timing integrity, coherence, and perceived resolution.
Each output includes a dedicated toggle to select Normal or Adaptive Zero Ground mode, allowing fine tuning of presentation and noise behavior for different system contexts.
Master Sound Discrete Clock — Esoteric’s proprietary OCXO module is built as a discrete circuit rather than a generic packaged module, with crystal-by-crystal temperature programming and multi-step heater control intended to stabilize the oscillator under real-world conditions.
Adaptive Zero Ground output topology — Each 10MHz terminal offers Normal or Adaptive Zero Ground operation, enabling system matching with different digital players and cable runs.
Esoteric-HCLD output buffer — High-current buffer design is used to deliver a pure 10MHz sine wave clock signal with stable drive into connected components.

It is a selectable output mode (per BNC terminal) that drives the ground level for each output terminal to 0V reference potential of the signal, offering another option for system matching and sonic preference.
The unit provides four 10MHz outputs, allowing up to four compatible devices to be synchronized from one master clock generator.
