Key Features & Innovations
Signature Wood Fibre Cone Woofer — the DALI Phantom H-60 In-wall/in-ceiling speakers utilize a 6.5-inch wood fibre and paper pulp diaphragm that combines high rigidity with low resonance to reproduce natural vocal midrange and articulate, punchy bass down to 51 Hz.
Oversized 28 mm Soft Dome Tweeter — light woven fabric dome extends high frequencies smoothly to 25,000 Hz with wide off-axis dispersion, ensuring full sound coverage across the entire listening area without a restrictive sweet spot.
Solid MDF Structural Front Baffle — unlike ordinary plastic custom installation baffles, the Phantom H-60 uses a rigid, CNC-machined MDF front structure to dampen cabinet vibrations and support uncompressed driver dynamics.
Effortless Dogleg Mounting System — dedicated spring-loaded dogleg clamps secure the speaker firmly into ceiling and wall cutouts without complex tools or framing modifications.
Paintable Ultra-Slim Magnetic Grille — features a low-profile, bezel-free steel magnetic mesh grille that can be painted to match any wall or ceiling surface, blending seamlessly into residential décor.
FAQ — DALI Phantom H-60
Can the DALI Phantom H-60 In-wall/in-ceiling speakers be used in both walls and ceilings?
Yes. The DALI Phantom H-60 In-wall/in-ceiling speakers are engineered with a balanced, wide-dispersion sound profile and low mounting depth, making them equally suited for in-wall front/surround channels or in-ceiling stereo and Dolby Atmos height channels.
Do these architectural speakers require a separate backbox?
While the Phantom H-60 is designed as an open-back speaker that utilizes standard wall/ceiling cavities as an acoustic enclosure, DALI offers optional pre-construction backboxes for projects requiring strict sound isolation between rooms.
Can the magnetic metal grille be painted?
Yes, the included white magnetic grille is fully paintable. Simply remove the grille, apply thin spray paint coats to prevent clogging the micro-perforations, and allow it to dry before snapping it back into place.
What amplifier power is recommended for the Phantom H-60?
DALI recommends powering the Phantom H-60 with stereo amplifiers or AV receivers rated between 30 and 150 Watts per channel into 6 Ohms.
