Dual ESS ES9028Q2M DACs support high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and DSD512 via USB, plus MQA decoding for compatible content. Choose fixed or variable output to run it as a pure DAC into an integrated amplifier, or as a digital preamp feeding a power amp or active speakers. A built-in headphone amplifier makes it equally at home on a desktop or in a full-size hi-fi rack.
Tip: Set output to Variable when driving a power amplifier or active speakers directly; use Fixed when feeding an integrated amp or preamp.
