Two-Channel Class D Amplifier • 500 Watts per Channel into 4 Ohms • 1,000-Watt Bridged Output • Embedded DSP • Bowers & Wilkins Speaker Presets • IP Configuration • Half-Rack 2U Design
The Bowers & Wilkins CDA-2HD High-Power Distribution Amplifier combines substantial output power, flexible signal routing and advanced digital signal processing in a compact chassis designed for professional custom installations. Its two Class D amplifier channels deliver 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, providing the control and dynamic capability required by demanding architectural speakers and passive subwoofers.
When additional output is required, the two channels can be bridged to provide up to 1,000 watts into an 8-ohm load. Embedded DSP includes optimized presets for compatible Bowers & Wilkins speakers and subwoofers, while IP-based configuration, adjustable routing, AVB connectivity and user-defined equalization make the CDA-2HD suitable for distributed audio, custom theaters and high-performance integrated systems.
Efficient Class D Amplification — The high-efficiency amplifier platform delivers substantial power from a compact enclosure while limiting the rack space required for custom-installed audio systems.
Bowers & Wilkins DSP Presets — Integrated speaker profiles optimize compatible architectural speakers, CT800 Series models and Bowers & Wilkins passive subwoofers, including application-specific dynamic equalization.
Advanced User Configuration — The network-accessible interface provides input routing, gain adjustment, volume limits, phase control, delay, bass and treble adjustment, plus an eight-band parametric equalizer for custom presets.
Flexible System Connectivity — Analog RCA, coaxial digital, Gigabit Ethernet, 12-volt trigger and locking speakON connections support integration into professionally designed music and home theater systems.
