What is the difference between the PULSE CINEMA and PULSE CINEMA MINI?
The PULSE CINEMA is the larger and more powerful model. It uses a 47-inch 3.2.2-channel design with 16 drivers, dedicated center and upfiring channels and 500 watts of total system power. The PULSE CINEMA MINI is a smaller 33-inch 2.1-channel model with 280 watts of system power and virtualized Dolby Atmos height effects.
Does the PULSE CINEMA have real upfiring Dolby Atmos speakers?
Yes. Unlike the PULSE CINEMA MINI, which uses processing to virtualize height effects, the larger PULSE CINEMA incorporates dedicated upfiring drivers as part of its 3.2.2-channel speaker configuration.
Can I add wireless rear speakers and a subwoofer?
Yes. Compatible Bluesound PULSE M or PULSE FLEX speakers can be configured as wireless rear channels, and the PULSE SUB+ can be added wirelessly for deeper low-frequency performance. A wired subwoofer can also be connected through the RCA subwoofer output.
Do I need an AV receiver with the PULSE CINEMA?
No. Amplification, Dolby Atmos decoding, DSP and BluOS streaming are built into the soundbar. For most installations, a compatible television can connect directly through HDMI eARC without a separate AV receiver.
