Its discrete output stage delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 160 watts per channel into 4 ohms, while a custom 320VA toroidal transformer and 60,000µF of total reservoir capacitance provide the current reserve and dynamic stability needed to control demanding loudspeakers.
The 9000A also functions as a complete source hub, with an ESS Sabre ES9038PRO DAC, USB-B computer input, dual coaxial and dual optical digital inputs, Bluetooth 5.1, three RCA line inputs, a balanced XLR input, dedicated MM phono stage and power-amplifier input.
