The Audiolab 6000A MKII Integrated Amplifier builds on the award-winning 6000A with meaningful improvements to its power supply, digital section and connectivity. Its discrete Class AB output stage delivers 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 75 watts into 4 ohms, while a substantial 200VA toroidal transformer and 60,000µF of total reservoir capacitance help maintain strong control, dynamic headroom and consistent performance with demanding loudspeakers.
Digital conversion is handled by an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC, complemented by four S/PDIF inputs and HDMI ARC for convenient integration with televisions and digital sources. Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD, three analog line inputs, a dedicated moving-magnet phono stage, headphone output and flexible pre/power operating modes make the 6000A MKII a versatile hub for music, vinyl and television-based audio systems.
200VA Toroidal Power Supply — The MKII uses an improved transformer implementation with increased secondary voltage and reduced impedance. Four 15,000µF reservoir capacitors provide substantial energy storage for stable power delivery and dynamic performance.
Complementary Feedback Class AB Topology — Audiolab's CFB output-stage design is engineered for excellent linearity and thermal stability while maintaining consistent idle current independently of output-transistor temperature.
ES9038Q2M DAC with Class A Post-DAC Stage — The upgraded ESS Sabre DAC is paired with a Class A active filter stage derived from Audiolab's 7000A design, helping improve digital resolution, noise performance and overall refinement.
Integrated, Pre and Pre-Power Modes — Use the 6000A MKII as a conventional integrated amplifier, dedicated preamplifier or separate the preamp and power-amplifier sections for external processing or AV-system integration.
Audiolab rates the amplifier at 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with a maximum output-current capability of 11 amps.
Yes. It includes a dedicated low-noise moving-magnet phono stage with 47k-ohm / 100pF loading and precise RIAA equalization. Moving-coil cartridges require a suitable external MC phono stage or step-up device.
Yes. The MKII adds HDMI ARC, allowing audio from a compatible television to be sent directly to the amplifier through an HDMI connection.
