The Audio-Technica VM520EB/H Headshell/Cartridge Combo Kit combines Audio-Technica's VM520EB dual moving magnet cartridge with the AT-HS10BK universal headshell in a convenient pre-mounted assembly. Its 0.3 × 0.7 mil bonded elliptical stylus follows record-groove modulation with greater precision than a basic conical profile, helping deliver clear vocals, defined instrumental textures and stable stereo imaging across a wide range of vinyl recordings.
As part of Audio-Technica's 500 Series VM cartridge family, the VM520EB uses dual magnets positioned to correspond with the left and right channels of a stereo record groove, along with paratoroidal coils and a center shield plate to improve generating efficiency and reduce crosstalk. The included AT-HS10BK headshell simplifies installation on compatible removable-headshell tonearms, making the combo an attractive option for listeners who want an easy cartridge upgrade without starting from a bare cartridge.
Bonded Elliptical Stylus — The 0.3 × 0.7 mil elliptical stylus is designed to trace groove modulation accurately while providing a practical balance of sound quality, durability and everyday usability.
