Will the AT6006R work with every turntable?
No. Compatibility depends on available mounting space, tonearm position, tonearm height and the path the arm follows toward the center of the record. Audio-Technica specifically lists the AT-LP5, AT-LP5X, AT-LP7 and AT-LP7X as compatible among its own turntables. Other turntables may also be compatible when their dimensions and tonearm geometry provide sufficient mounting space.
Does the AT6006R return the tonearm to its rest?
No. The AT6006R raises the tonearm at the end of the record, but it does not move the arm horizontally back to its rest or shut off the turntable. The tonearm must still be returned manually.
How is the AT6006R installed?
