The Audio-Technica AT-SP3X Powered Bookshelf Speaker (Pair) provides a simple, compact stereo solution for turntables, computers, smartphones and other audio sources without requiring a separate amplifier or receiver. Each enclosure combines a 3-inch woofer with a 1.1-inch tweeter, while onboard DSP tuning helps deliver balanced full-range reproduction for music, movies and everyday listening.
Bluetooth 5.3 provides convenient wireless playback from compatible devices, while multipoint connectivity allows two Bluetooth sources to remain connected simultaneously. Traditional audio components can connect through the stereo RCA input, making the AT-SP3X especially useful with turntables that provide a built-in phono preamplifier or line-level output. A supplied 6.6-foot speaker cable connects the left and right speakers, while power, volume and pairing controls keep operation straightforward.

No. The AT-SP3X is a powered speaker system with built-in amplification, so no external receiver or power amplifier is required.
Yes, provided the turntable supplies a line-level output through a built-in phono preamplifier. A turntable that outputs only PHONO level will require an external phono preamp before connecting to the AT-SP3X RCA input.
Yes. Audio-Technica includes multipoint connectivity, allowing up to two compatible Bluetooth devices to remain connected simultaneously. Audio cannot be played from both devices at the same time.
The AT-SP3X supports the SBC Bluetooth audio codec along with A2DP. Audio-Technica specifies Bluetooth 5.3 and an approximate 10-meter / 33-foot line-of-sight range.
