The Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBT Fully Automatic Wireless Turntable combines simple one-touch vinyl playback with the flexibility of both wired and wireless listening. Press START and the turntable automatically moves the tonearm into position and begins playback, then lifts and returns the arm when the record ends. Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity makes it easy to listen through compatible wireless speakers or headphones, while aptX Adaptive and aptX codec support provide higher-quality wireless audio with compatible devices.
At the heart of the AT-LP70XBT is Audio-Technica's integrated AT-VM95C Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with a replaceable 0.6 mil conical stylus. While the cartridge body itself is fixed to the tonearm, the interchangeable VM95 stylus system provides a valuable upgrade path. A switchable built-in phono preamplifier also allows the turntable to connect directly to powered speakers and line-level inputs or bypass the internal preamp when used with a dedicated phono stage.
AT-VM95 Dual Moving Magnet Platform — The integrated AT-VM95C cartridge provides a substantial advantage over turntables using basic proprietary cartridge systems. Although the cartridge body is fixed, its replaceable stylus design provides access to compatible VM95 stylus options.
Die-Cast Aluminum Platter — The belt-drive system uses a die-cast aluminum platter to provide a stable rotating platform for records while helping maintain consistent playback speed.
Wired or Wireless Listening — Bluetooth connectivity provides convenient cable-free playback, while RCA outputs allow the turntable to remain part of a traditional stereo system. Wired and wireless outputs can accommodate a wide range of listening setups.
Automatic Tonearm Mechanism — The automatic system handles the start and return functions without requiring the listener to manually cue every record. A tonearm lift lever is also provided for manual cueing when you want to begin playback at a specific groove.
Yes. The AT-LP70XBT includes a switchable built-in phono preamplifier. Set the output to LINE when connecting to an AUX or line-level input, or select PHONO when connecting to a compatible external phono preamp or phono input.
The integrated AT-VM95C cartridge body cannot be removed from the turntable. However, its stylus is replaceable, providing access to compatible VM95-series stylus options. This allows the playback system to be upgraded without replacing the cartridge body.
Yes. Bluetooth 5.2 allows the turntable to pair directly with compatible Bluetooth speakers and headphones. It supports SBC, Qualcomm aptX and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio codecs.
Yes. During automatic operation, pressing START begins playback automatically. At the end of the record, the tonearm lifts and returns to its rest. A STOP button can also return the tonearm and stop playback before the record finishes.
Bluetooth speakers, headphones, amplifier, external phono preamplifier, upgraded VM95-series styli and other system components are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
