Fully Automatic • Belt Drive • 33⅓ & 45 RPM • AT-VM95C Cartridge • Built-In Phono Preamp • PHONO/LINE Output • Die-Cast Aluminum Platter
The Audio-Technica AT-LP70X Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable makes enjoying records straightforward without sacrificing the flexibility to improve your vinyl playback system over time. Select the record size and speed, press START, and the turntable automatically spins the platter, positions the tonearm and begins playback. When the record ends, the tonearm automatically lifts and returns to its rest.
At the heart of the AT-LP70X is Audio-Technica's integrated AT-VM95C Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with a replaceable 0.6 mil bonded conical stylus. While the cartridge body itself is permanently integrated into the tonearm, its VM95-series stylus interface provides a convenient upgrade path. A switchable built-in phono preamplifier further simplifies system matching, allowing connection to either a traditional PHONO input or standard LINE/AUX input.
AT-VM95 Dual Moving Magnet Platform — Rather than using a basic proprietary cartridge system, the AT-LP70X incorporates Audio-Technica's AT-VM95C cartridge technology. The cartridge body is fixed in place, but its stylus can be removed and replaced.
Die-Cast Aluminum Platter — The belt-drive mechanism turns a die-cast aluminum platter, providing a stable rotating platform for 33⅓ and 45 RPM records.
Automatic or Manual Cueing — In addition to one-touch automatic operation, the tonearm can be raised with the lift lever and manually positioned over a desired groove when you want greater control over where playback begins.
Integrated RIAA Phono Stage — The internal 36 dB phono preamplifier converts the cartridge's low-level signal to line level, allowing the AT-LP70X to work with a broad range of powered speakers, amplifiers and receivers.
Yes. The AT-LP70X includes a switchable built-in RIAA phono preamplifier. Select LINE when connecting to a standard AUX or line-level input, or PHONO when using a compatible external phono stage or amplifier with a PHONO input.
Yes. Pressing START begins playback automatically, and the tonearm automatically returns to its rest when the record ends. A STOP button can also be used to stop playback and return the tonearm before the record finishes.
The AT-VM95C cartridge body is integrated into the tonearm and cannot be removed. However, the stylus is replaceable, providing access to compatible Audio-Technica VM95-series stylus options for maintenance or performance upgrades.
No. The AT-LP70X is the wired version of this turntable and provides analog PHONO and LINE outputs. For Bluetooth wireless connectivity, consider the Audio-Technica AT-LP70XBT.
Amplifier, powered speakers, external phono preamplifier, upgraded VM95-series stylus and other system components are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
