Key Features & Innovations
Effortless push-button automatic operation — the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X Fully Automatic Turntable features intuitive front-panel controls that automatically cue the needle onto the record and return the tonearm to its rest position when playback concludes.
Redesigned tonearm base & headshell structure — re-engineered to significantly improve tracking performance and damp unwanted mechanical vibrations during record playback.
Integral Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge — comes pre-fitted with Audio-Technica’s proven Dual Magnet cartridge and a user-replaceable ATN3600L diamond stylus built directly into the headshell for simplified setup.
Built-in switchable phono preamplifier — equipped with an internal preamplifier with selectable PHONO and LINE output modes, allowing direct connectivity to powered speakers, audio interfaces, or traditional phono stage receivers.
Anti-resonance die-cast aluminum platter & external power adapter — features a precision die-cast aluminum platter to damp rotational vibration and an external AC power adapter to isolate electrical noise from the signal path.
How does the AT-LP60X differ from the wireless AT-LP60XBT model?
The Audio-Technica AT-LP60X Fully Automatic Turntable is the traditional wired version of the platform. It offers the exact same mechanical components, tonearm architecture, and phono preamp as the AT-LP60XBT but omits internal Bluetooth wireless streaming capabilities.
Do I need a separate phono preamplifier to use this turntable?
No. It features a built-in switchable phono preamplifier. Set the rear switch to "LINE" when connecting directly to powered speakers or standard AUX inputs, or set it to "PHONO" if plugging into a dedicated external phono preamplifier or receiver phono input.
Can the stylus be replaced when it wears out?
Yes. The integrated cartridge uses the easily replaceable Audio-Technica ATN3600L diamond stylus, which snaps on and off without requiring tools or alignment adjustments.
What record sizes and speeds does the AT-LP60X support?
The turntable supports standard 33-1/3 RPM LPs and 45 RPM singles, featuring top-panel selector buttons for rotational speed and 7-inch or 12-inch record diameter sizing.
