The Audeze Mobius Spatial Audio Gaming Headset combines Audeze's large-format planar magnetic driver technology with onboard Waves Nx spatial processing to create an unusually immersive gaming and multimedia experience. Its 100mm planar magnetic drivers use Fluxor magnets, an ultra-thin Uniforce diaphragm and Fazor phase-management technology to deliver deep bass, low distortion and detailed positional information across a wide 10Hz–50kHz frequency range.
Mobius can process 5.1 and 7.1 surround audio over USB while its integrated motion sensors track head movement up to 1,000 times per second. Waves Nx processing then adjusts the virtual sound field as the listener moves, helping sounds remain anchored to simulated positions in the room. Bluetooth with LDAC, AAC and SBC, USB connectivity, 3.5mm analog input and a removable boom microphone make Mobius suitable for gaming, movies, music and communications across a wide range of devices.
Audeze Planar Magnetic Technology — Mobius uses an ultra-thin Uniforce diaphragm driven by powerful Neodymium N50 Fluxor magnet arrays. Fazor elements help manage acoustic wave behavior for improved clarity and phase response.
Waves Nx Head-Tracked Audio — Mobius tracks head position and orientation in real time, allowing its virtual speaker locations to remain perceptually fixed as the listener turns or moves their head.
Room Emulation — Waves Nx processing adds customizable spatial reflections and room characteristics, helping headphone playback resemble listening to loudspeakers positioned around the user.
Audeze HQ Customization — The Mobius platform supports Audeze HQ software for personalized HRTF parameters, sound-profile adjustment and configurable head-gesture functions on supported systems.
Mobius can receive and process up to eight discrete channels over its wired USB connection, allowing compatible computers to send 5.1 or 7.1 surround audio directly to the headset's onboard spatial-processing system.
