The Arcam ST5 Streamer is a slim high-resolution network player designed to add premium streaming capability to ARCAM Radia integrated amplifiers and other high-quality stereo systems. It supports playback up to 24-bit/192kHz and uses an ESS ES9018 high-resolution DAC with time-domain jitter elimination to provide clean, detailed analog output from network and USB music sources.
Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon Ready, Apple AirPlay and Google Cast provide extensive streaming flexibility, while the ARCAM Radia app adds internet radio, podcasts, Amazon Music Unlimited, UPnP and USB media playback. A dedicated control link allows compatible ARCAM amplifiers and the ST5 to operate together as an integrated system while retaining the sonic advantages of separate chassis and individual power supplies.
ESS ES9018 Digital Conversion — The ST5 uses an ESS ES9018 high-resolution DAC for its analog output stage, with ARCAM's implementation including time-domain jitter elimination to improve timing accuracy and clarity.
Separate-Component Architecture — ARCAM designed the ST5 as a standalone streamer rather than embedding its circuitry into an amplifier, allowing the streamer and amplifier to maintain independent power supplies and reduced internal interference.
Network & USB Playback — Wi-Fi, Ethernet, UPnP and USB-A mass-storage support provide multiple options for accessing locally stored and network-based music libraries.
Radia System Integration — When connected to compatible Radia integrated amplifiers through the supplied communication cable, the ST5 and amplifier can behave more like a unified system for everyday operation.
