The Arcam SA45 Streaming Integrated Amplifier is an all-in-one high-performance music system engineered for listeners who want powerful amplification, sophisticated streaming and comprehensive source connectivity in a single component. Inspired by ARCAM's acclaimed A49 amplifier, the SA45 combines fifth-generation Class G amplification with fully balanced analog and digital signal paths, delivering 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms.
A new six-layer digital audio and streaming platform incorporates ESS Hyperstream IV DAC technology, advanced jitter elimination and high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/384kHz. Dirac Live Room Correction and dual subwoofer outputs provide sophisticated system optimization, while MM and MC phono inputs, HDMI eARC, balanced XLR connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4 and extensive network streaming make the SA45 a remarkably complete centerpiece for a premium two-channel system.
Fifth-Generation ARCAM Class G — ARCAM's latest Class G implementation combines efficient operation with substantial dynamic power, using carefully selected components and materials to achieve high output with exceptionally low distortion.
Six-Layer Digital Audio Platform — A dedicated ground plane extends throughout the digital board to help isolate sensitive audio circuitry from electrical noise and interference, providing a cleaner foundation for high-resolution conversion and streaming.
ESS Hyperstream IV DAC Architecture — ARCAM employs the latest-generation ESS DAC topology in a balanced configuration with advanced jitter elimination to preserve low-level detail, timing and stereo imaging.
Linear Toroidal Power Supply — A redesigned linear toroidal transformer supplies the amplifier and internal audio circuitry with low-noise power, while a separate switching supply operates during standby for improved efficiency.
The SA45 delivers 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms from 20Hz–20kHz with both channels driven. Into 4 ohms, ARCAM rates it at 300 watts per channel at 1kHz.
Yes. Dirac Live Room Correction is included, and a measurement microphone and 5-meter USB cable are supplied for system calibration.
Yes. The SA45 provides dedicated phono inputs for both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, allowing compatible turntables to connect directly to the amplifier.
The SA45 supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready playback, along with Apple AirPlay and Google Cast. The ARCAM Radia app also provides access to internet radio, podcasts, UPnP network playback and connected USB media.
