The Arcam SA45 Streaming Integrated Amplifier is an all-in-one high-performance music system combining powerful fifth-generation Class G amplification with ARCAM's latest high-resolution streaming architecture. Delivering 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the SA45 provides the current, control and dynamic headroom needed to drive demanding high-end loudspeakers while maintaining exceptional musical refinement.
Fully balanced analog and digital audio paths are joined by the latest ESS Hyperstream IV DAC topology, a new linear toroidal power supply, Dirac Live Room Correction, MM and MC phono inputs, HDMI eARC and dual subwoofer outputs. Its 8.8-inch high-resolution display provides album artwork and playback information, while Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready support make the SA45 a comprehensive centerpiece for a modern two-channel system.
Fifth-Generation Class G Amplification — ARCAM's latest Class G architecture combines high-current output with greater efficiency by intelligently using multiple power-supply rails, providing substantial power during demanding musical passages without sacrificing low-level refinement.
Fully Balanced Audio Architecture — The SA45 employs balanced analog and digital audio paths, with engineering derived from ARCAM's acclaimed A49 amplifier platform to reduce unwanted noise and preserve delicate musical information.
ESS Hyperstream IV DAC Technology — ARCAM's latest digital architecture uses ESS Hyperstream IV DAC topology in a balanced configuration with advanced jitter elimination, supported by a six-layer digital audio and streaming board designed to isolate sensitive audio circuitry from interference.
Linear Toroidal Power Supply — A newly developed linear toroidal transformer supply powers the SA45's internal operation with an emphasis on low noise, while a separate switching supply operates during standby for improved efficiency.
ARCAM rates the SA45 at 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms from 20Hz–20kHz with both channels driven and 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms at 1kHz. Harmonic distortion is rated at 0.002% at 80% power into 8 ohms at 1kHz.
Yes. The SA45 includes Dirac Live Room Correction and is supplied with a measurement microphone and 5-meter USB cable for system calibration.
Yes. Unlike many integrated streaming amplifiers, the SA45 provides dedicated support for both moving-magnet and moving-coil phono cartridges, allowing a wide variety of turntables to connect directly.
The SA45 supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready playback, along with Apple AirPlay and Google Cast. The ARCAM Radia app also provides access to internet radio, podcasts, UPnP and USB media.
