The Arcam AVA35 AV Amplifier represents the flagship integrated home cinema solution in ARCAM's Radia AV range, combining sixteen channels of immersive audio processing with nine channels of ARCAM Class G amplification. Engineered in Cambridge, UK, the AVA35 is designed for listeners who demand exceptional musical performance alongside reference-quality movie reproduction, providing flexible speaker configuration, sophisticated room correction and substantial power from a single premium component.
Matrix Channel Assignment allows amplifier and processing channels to be allocated according to the needs of the system, while Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and AURO-3D provide comprehensive immersive-audio support. Seven HDMI 2.1a inputs handle compatible 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz sources, while Dirac Live Room Correction, high-resolution network streaming, Roon Ready support and ARCAM's Radia AV Control app make the AVA35 equally capable as a cinema processor and a high-performance music system.
ARCAM Class G Amplification — The AVA35 uses nine channels of ARCAM's proprietary Class G amplification, a topology designed to increase efficiency while maintaining the sonic characteristics, control and low distortion associated with high-quality linear amplification.
Matrix Channel Assignment — Unlike fixed amplifier architectures, the AVA35 allows channels to be reassigned throughout the system, giving installers greater flexibility when configuring surround, height, subwoofer and additional-zone requirements.
High-Performance DAC Architecture — ARCAM equips the AVA35 with the same advanced DAC architecture developed for its premium stereo components, reinforcing the amplifier's focus on high-quality two-channel music reproduction as well as home cinema.
Expandable Dirac Platform — Dirac Live Room Correction is supported as standard, while compatible upgrades to Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment provide increasingly sophisticated control over low-frequency behavior and whole-system interaction.
The AVA35 contains nine channels of built-in Class G amplification while providing processing for up to sixteen channels. Additional external power amplifiers can be used when the system requires more amplified channels.
ARCAM rates the AVA35 at 145 watts per channel into 8 ohms with two channels driven and 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms with seven channels driven. Into 4 ohms, ARCAM specifies 200 watts with two channels driven and 130 watts with seven channels driven.
Yes. Dirac Live Room Correction is supported. Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment are available as optional upgrade paths for more advanced system optimization.
Yes. Its HDMI 2.1a platform supports compatible video resolutions up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, along with VRR, ALLM, eARC, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and other modern HDMI features.
