The Arcam AVA25 AV Amplifier combines nine channels of ARCAM Class AB amplification with sophisticated 16-channel processing for high-performance immersive home cinema. Engineered in Cambridge, UK, the AVA25 delivers 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms with two channels driven and provides the flexibility needed to build configurations such as 7.1.2 and 5.1.4 while retaining the ability to expand the system with external amplification.
Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and AURO-3D deliver comprehensive immersive-audio support, while Dirac Live Room Correction helps optimize the loudspeakers for the listening environment. Seven HDMI 2.1a inputs accommodate modern 8K video and high-frame-rate gaming sources, and integrated Roon Ready, AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect support makes the AVA25 equally capable with movies and high-resolution music.
ARCAM Class AB Amplification — The AVA25 uses nine channels of ARCAM's internally developed Class AB amplification, designed to provide the tonal refinement and dynamic performance expected from the company's dedicated stereo amplifiers.
Flexible Channel Assignment — Front, surround-back and height amplifier channels can be reassigned, allowing the AVA25 to accommodate different immersive speaker layouts and system requirements.
Substantial Toroidal Power Supply — ARCAM equips the AVA25 with a large linear power supply built around a toroidal transformer to provide stable current delivery across its multichannel amplifier section.
Expandable Dirac Platform — Dirac Live Room Correction provides sophisticated system calibration, while optional Dirac Live Bass Control and Active Room Treatment licenses allow owners to further optimize bass reproduction and speaker-to-speaker interaction.
The AVA25 contains nine built-in Class AB amplifier channels and can therefore directly power up to nine passive loudspeaker channels. Its 16-channel processing allows larger systems to be created by adding compatible external power amplification.
ARCAM rates the AVA25 at 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms with two channels driven and 90 watts per channel with seven channels driven. Into 4 ohms, ARCAM specifies 160 watts with two channels driven and 100 watts with seven channels driven.
Yes. Dirac Live Room Correction is supported for acoustic calibration. Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment are compatible optional upgrades.
Yes. Its HDMI 2.1a platform supports compatible sources up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz along with VRR, ALLM, eARC, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and other modern HDMI features.
