The ARCAM AVA25 AV Amplifier combines nine channels of high-current Class AB amplification with flexible 16-channel surround processing for premium home theater and music systems. Engineered in Cambridge, UK, the AVA25 is designed to deliver the dynamic impact required for cinematic soundtracks while preserving the detail, tonal richness, and musical character associated with ARCAM amplification.
With nine powered channels, the AVA25 can directly drive immersive configurations such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4. Its 16-channel processing platform also allows the system to expand with external power amplifiers, additional height channels, surround speakers, or multiple subwoofers. Supported immersive formats include Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced, MPEG-H, and AURO-3D.
Seven HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs provide compatibility with advanced home theater sources and displays. The HDMI 2.1a platform supports video resolutions up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, along with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, VRR, ALLM, eARC, and other modern video technologies. Dirac Live Room Correction, integrated high-resolution streaming, and a large 6.5-inch color display make the ARCAM AVA25 AV Amplifier a sophisticated centerpiece for a custom cinema or media room.
High-Current Class AB Amplification — The AVA25 uses an ARCAM-engineered Class AB amplifier and substantial linear power supply to deliver controlled, consistent power. This design is well suited to larger rooms and demanding loudspeakers while maintaining low distortion and natural musicality.
Flexible 16-Channel Processing — Although nine amplifier channels are built in, the AVA25 can process up to 16 channels. External power amplifiers can be added for more elaborate immersive-audio layouts, additional height speakers, or expanded surround coverage.
Dirac Live Room Correction — The included calibration platform measures the listening room and connected speakers to correct frequency-response and timing irregularities. Optional Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment upgrades provide additional system-wide optimization.
Advanced HDMI Video Platform — Seven HDMI inputs support modern source components, while two Zone 1 HDMI outputs and one Zone 2 output allow flexible display integration. Supported technologies include 8K/60Hz, 4K/120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, VRR, ALLM, CEC, and eARC.
Modern Streaming and Wireless Connectivity — The ARCAM AVA25 AV Amplifier supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.4, Snapdragon Sound, Auracast, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and direct playback from leading lossless streaming platforms.
The AVA25 includes nine channels of built-in Class AB amplification. It can directly power systems such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 and can process up to 16 channels when external power amplifiers are added.
The AVA25 delivers 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms with two channels driven. It is also rated at 160 watts per channel into 4 ohms with two channels driven and 90 watts per channel into 8 ohms with seven channels driven.
Yes. Dirac Live Room Correction is included. Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment are available as optional upgrades.
