The Arcam A50 Signature Integrated Amplifier celebrates five decades of ARCAM amplification with the company's first true dual-mono Class G integrated design. Developed in Cambridge, UK, each stereo channel operates as an independent amplifier module with its own transformer winding, power regulation, reservoir capacitors, Class G lifter stage and output-stage heatsink, creating exceptional channel separation, low noise and dynamic control.
Delivering 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 220 watts into 4 ohms, the A50 Signature combines formidable loudspeaker-driving ability with a completely redesigned digital and analog platform. An ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, asynchronous USB-C, HDMI eARC, dedicated Class A MM/MC phono circuitry, analog and digital inputs, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Lossless and Auracast, plus wired and wireless headphone support make it an exceptionally versatile centerpiece for a reference two-channel system.
True Dual-Mono Class G Architecture — The left and right channels are constructed as self-contained amplifier modules, significantly reducing interaction between channels and providing each side with independent power delivery and thermal management.
Advanced Class G Power Delivery — ARCAM's Class G topology operates from lower supply rails during normal listening and introduces higher-voltage rails only when musical peaks demand additional power, combining strong efficiency with the linearity of a high-quality analog amplifier.
New Digital & Volume-Control Platform — The A50 Signature incorporates newly designed DAC, phono and volume-control circuitry developed specifically to complement its dual-mono amplifier architecture and preserve signal integrity from input to output.
Modern Source Integration — USB-C accommodates high-resolution computer audio, HDMI eARC simplifies premium TV sound, and Bluetooth 5.4 provides Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless, LE Audio and Auracast connectivity for compatible wireless devices.
ARCAM rates the A50 Signature at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms from 20Hz–20kHz with both channels driven, and 220 watts per channel into 4 ohms at 1kHz.
